Happy Healthy Children

Children thrive on consistency.  Helping put your child on a schedule throughout the day, including sleep, helps them a routine and helps them transition better!

Keep your child active

Studies have found that keeping your child active can actual help with their sleep cycle.  So when you child is awake make sure they are active, weather it is tummy time or playing on a playground. Their congnigtive development depends on both activity and sleep.

Co-Sleeping

Co-sleeping, while sometimes can seem better for your child since they tend to fall asleep faster, actually delays development of an infants independence and create sleep issues. The AAP recommends that infants should be placed in a crib, bassinet or cradle approved by the CPSC in the same room as the parents, and should not co-sleep with other individuals.
